Our client based in the heart of Downtown Vancouver is looking for an Accounting manager on a part time basis to join their dynamic team. This position is responsible for the overall financial reporting and full cycle day to day accounting functions.

The company culture is very collaborative and team based, the right candidate would have strong communication skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage a lot of tasks at the one time.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
Manage and perform all accounting activities
Cash flow reconciliation
Manage A/R, contracts, invoicing and collection
Provided detailed project reports
Accounts payable maintenance
Bank and ledger reconciliations
GST/PST tax returns preparation and remittance
Process payroll semi-monthly
Timesheets management
Perform and create management reports: financial statements, aging reports, job cost reports and project profitability
Employee benefits
Employee expenses
Other reports requested by management
Weekly and monthly reporting

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

3-5 years accounting experience
University courses in accounting preferred
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Analytical thinker and dynamic team player
