Adecco is currently hiring for an Accountant (Intermediate) in Downtown Toronto, ON. To qualify for this Accountant (Intermediate) role, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of experience in accounting , strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Excel and Word), strong organizational skills, and time management skills. Our client is a highly innovative and reliable organization that specializes in mutual funds. This Accountant (Intermediate) role is a 6-month contract and has a pay rate of $23.50 per hour.

Accountant (Intermediate) Responsibilities:
• Responsible for applying accounting principles to prepare various statements, reports, and reconciliations – specific to derivative instruments
• Responsible for preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and performing account analysis
• Ensure and verify accuracy of audits of various records are properly recorded against broker data and/or client data
• Maintain proper documentation and back-up for audit purposes

Accountant (Intermediate) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in accounting
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Excel and Word)
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
