We are currently recruiting for a Accounts Payable associate for a 4 month contract position.

The role is for a Property Management Company in London, ON. Day shift, Monday-Friday, $17-20/hr.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

-Reconciles purchase orders to supplier invoices, reports discrepancies to management, codes invoices where required
-Processes and reconciles supplier invoices, semi-monthly cheque runs for all divisions through a custom database accounting system
-Reconciles company credit cards and monitors utility activity issuing cheques in a timely manner
-Maintains accounts payable file system and related records for each supplier / creditor
-Liaises with Commercial Accountant with respect to security deposits, refunds and other tenant specific activities.
-Maintains and monitors WSIB and Certificate of Insurance information for vendors including notification of noncurrent information
-Delivers deposits to the bank for processing as required
-Performs other related duties as assigned by the Vice President Finance

Accounts Payable Qualifications and Requirements:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency
- Attention to detail and able to multitask
- Proficient spoken and written English
- Punctual, meticulous and reliable
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Must have a minimum 5+ year¿s experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to be qualified for the role.
