Our client is seeking a flexible and Accounting Clerk to join their unique and exciting family operated business in Richmond, BC. This position will ensure that all assigned A/R and A/P tasks and activities are maintained in a timely and accurate fashion.

Responsibilities:

-Contact customers with past-due account balances to make payment arrangements
-Handle incoming customer enquiries regarding their account status and perform any necessary reconciliation/investigation to resolve customer questions
-Ensure all prices are up to date for each product in the system
-Post sales invoices, A/R receipts to General Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cash Ledger as appropriate
-prepare cheques for payables
-pay vendors
-maintain vendor records
-maintain quality and integrity PO system
-perform other tasks on a temporary basis as assigned

Accounting Clerk Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Solid computer and keyboarding skills
Strong interpersonal skills
