As the world leader in hiring solutions we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk to support our client in Vancouver, BC.

The Accounts Payable-Payroll Clerk would be responsible for calculating, preparing and processing bills, invoices, accounts payable and some receivables such as rents and damage deposits, budgets and other financial records according to established procedures.
This position is also responsible for the processing of biweekly payroll using Pay WEB and Advanced Tracker.

Accounts Payable/ Payroll Clerk Responsibilities:
-Enter all Payables into the system and manage payable entries into multiple inter-company postings
-Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and internal payees to assist in receiving information, invoices, expense reports, required to service the property management and executive functions
-Ensure that all expense reports are submitted as per company deadlines and standards
-Access and organize high volume of invoices from various internal and external sources on a daily basis-review for accuracy and completeness
-Generate payable cheque runs using the accounting system and arrange for director signing
-Calculates, prepares and issues documents related to account budgets, inventory reports, account statements and other financial statements using in house systems.
-Full cycle payable duties such as: coding, totals, batches, verify, and reconciles transactions.
-Payroll and bank statements using software supported and manual tracking mechanisms
-Compiles budget data and documents based on estimated revenues and expenses and previous budgets
-Receive, compile, and accurately submit payroll information into ADP Payroll system for hourly and salaried employees

Accounts Payable/ Payroll Clerk Qualifications:
-Post Secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, plus two years of direct experience in full cycle accounting, and a minimum of one year payroll processing experience
-MS Office, databases and accounting software
-Experience working in the not for profit organizations or supported living is considered an asset.
-Extreme attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
-Ability to work in high a high volume, fast paced environment-remaining focused and results oriented
