Accounts Payable Administrator| Up to $48K+ l Richmond, BC l Permanent

Adecco Professional has partnered with a leading property development company to seek for a Accounts Payable Administrator to ensure all accounts payable are processed in a prompt and accurate manner while supporting the Company’s reception and administrative duties including serving as a strong resource to the Finance team.


RESPONSIBILTIES:











Accounts payable administration including receiving invoices, verifying invoices against any POs, commitments and budgets, and ensuring invoices have been properly approved for payment.
Invoice entry into Timberline Accounting A/P and Job Cost systems.
Maintain current and accurate vendor contact records and communicate with vendors as required to address inquiries or resolve invoice discrepancies.
Track holdbacks and holdback releases in accordance with the B.C. Builders Lien Act.
Prepare cheque runs including invoice and cheque processing, coordination of cheque signing, and distribution of cheques.
Maintain hard copy and digital vendor files to enable efficient A/P filing.
Provide back-up and support in the completion of required GST/HST filings and for other Finance team member duties when necessary.
Coordinate A/P and Job Cost activities with the Construction Procurement Manager as required ensuring that Job Cost reports are accurate and timely.
Management of the A/P sub-ledger and ensuring AP processes are properly adhered to.
Proactively ensure vendor compliance with insurance requirements
Relief Reception and administrative duties.












REQUIREMENTS:


Minimum 3 years’ accounts payable experience, preferably in a related industry.
Proficient with Timberline A/P and Job Cost modules.
Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or completion of business administration courses would be considered an asset.
