Adecco is currently hiring for a Collections Representative for our client located in Toronto, ON. In order to be considered for this position the successful candidate needs to have at least two years of administrative and AR collections experience. Our client is one of the oldest uniform suppliers in world with locations across the globe servicing over 4 million clients across the country and employ over 30 000 people. The position of Collections/AR is an entry level role into a large corporation with lots of room for growth.

The compensation package is a base salary range of between $32 000 to $38 000 plus a bonus structure dependent upon performance, 2 weeks’ vacation, RRSP/DPSP contributions, full benefits and continual training to their staff.

The Collections/AR Representative Key Responsibilities Include:


Ability to investigate, negotiate and update outstanding accounts in a professional and compassionate manner
Responsible for achieving monthly accounts receivable goals through heavy phone work on daily basis
Assess and prepare any invoices for finished goods as well as keying and gaining approval on invoices
Provide administrative support to team including faxing and filing as well as ensuring accuracy of current records
Effectively track and key in inventory numbers into company’s system



The Collections/AR Representative Mandatory Qualifications Include:


Two years of AR collection experience and one year of office experience
Ability to work within a fast paced, detailed and customer centric environment
Have strong oral and written communication skills as will be spending a good portion of the day on phone collecting on accounts
Strong analysis and stakeholder management experience along with the ability to work with multiple clients
Superior organization, prioritization, independent work and time management skills
Exceptional computer skills including working with CRM Systems and Microsoft Office
