Accounts Receivable Clerk Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning and organizing of daily, weekly, and month-end processing in order to meet cutoff deadlines.
Daily banking of all cash receipts including SAP integration
Process and clear customer credit card payments and wire payments
File all documents relevant to Accounts Receivable and cash receipts
Responsible for ensuring that regular statements are sent to all customers as reminders to remit payment
Provide monthly reconciliation between A/R account balances and sub ledger including reasons and action plan for certain overdue items
Manage the Accounts Receivable collections process
Handle A/R disputes/discrepancies including research to support proof of delivery, preparing support documentation, and contacting customers to resolve outstanding issues
Determine and monitor credit of current customer base through Accounts Receivable performance
Provides all backup and approvals to accounting manager for setup of new customer accounts
Provides AR Analysis for Accounting Manager after month end including identification of customers over credit limit

Accounts Receivables Requirements:

Proactive work approach
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP (Asset)
Experience in an Accounts Receivable role
Ability to organize and analyze
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent time management
Verbal and written communication skills
Degree in Finance or Accounting
