Our partner in Ottawa is currently looking for a Bilingual Bilingual Operations Assistant to join their team. This is a contract opportunity with potential to turn permanent after successfully completing a probationary period. Our client is located Downtown Ottawa, parking is not available at this location. This position offers full time hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. The hourly rate of pay is between $15-18.

The right candidate for this role will have excellent organization skills and great attention to detail, good verbal and communication skills, be flexible and adapt to a variety of clerical tasks with multiple deadlines and achievement goals.

Bilingual Bilingual Operations Assistant Responsibilities:
-Preparation of documents included in proposals and client deliverables;
-Proofreading documents to ensure they are formatted to the company standard and professionally presented
-Ensure documents are appropriately archived
-Strong customer service skills
-Responsible to schedule interviews for the Executives
-Greet visitors and connect them with their hosts
-Answer phone calls not handled by the auto-attendant system
-Ensure meeting rooms and reception area are presentable before and after client meetings
-Other administrative duties that arise that ensure that the wheels keep turning

Bilingual Bilingual Operations Assistant Qualifications:
-Bilingual French/English is mandatory
-At minimum two years of experience providing support at the executive level within a professional environment
-Expert project management, time management, and change management skills
-Completed relevant post-secondary education, with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
-Possess direct experience in document management
-A keen eye for detail
-Demonstrated expertise in MS Word Skills and proficient in the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint
-Proficient in database management including generating reports from existing databases
-Proficient in use of the Internet and Internet Explorer
-Experience in the development and maintenance of basic spreadsheets
-Strong time management skills
-Strong communication skills
