Adecco is hiring for a contract documentation specialist job in Toronto, Ontario. To be considered for this role, you must have at least five years’ experience in documentation review and completion. Our client is one of the major financial institution, they prefer candidates with legal and/or financial background. The pay rate for this position is $35 per hour.

Documentation Specialist Job Requirements:
• Having overall ownership of business documentation and fulfillment activities, and be the conduit into technology and marketing partners for documentation-related projects and on-going tasks
• Developing clear and concise documentation by leveraging industry standards and guidelines (e.g. Financial Consumer Agency of Canada Clear Language Principles and Guidelines)
Developing key success factors and performance indicators relevant to the documentation function, and implement on-going tracking and monitoring activities to identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization
• Acting as the subject matter expert, including keeping current with latest developments incorporate and customer communications, providing advice, and making recommendations for improving the documentation function that result in an enhanced customer and employee experience
• Leading and completing projects/initiative tasks within the business area, and representing the business interests as documentation expert on projects sponsored by other areas of the bank Creating, managing and owning the documentation warehouse
• Lead two Documentation and Communication specialist and promote a collaborative team environment
• Acting as the communications expert, crafting professional writing that consider the needs of the audience and further the needs of the Insurance business
• Lead the development of collaterals as part of highly complex initiatives, and working with various cross-functional teams
• Provide regular reporting on the status of various communications activities
• Identify opportunities for improvement, including the championing and use of clear language
• Being the overall owner of the communications process
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the communications skill set through ongoing training, conferences, etc.

• Qualifications:
Post-secondary accreditation in journalism or corporate communications
• 5+ years of expereince in a documentation or communications environment from insurance or finance industry
• Knowledge of life & health and creditor insurance products
Expert in MS Office product suite, including MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Excellent communication, writing, and facilitation skills
• Bilingualism (French and English) will be considered as an asset
