Our growing Burlington client who is a leader in the sports industry is looking for a Data Analyst Coordinator to join their team. the ideal candidate will have 1-2 years related experience and will be very proficient with MS Excel. The following are the responsibilities:

The Data Analyst Coordinator is responsible for data entry and product information coordination in support of the Buying Team with various duties across multiple categories. The Data Analyst Coordinator will provide data support relating to product, pricing, vendor codes, UPCs and product descriptions. The position will ensure that all product details are correctly entered into the buying system and communication between departments and stores is detailed and accurate. Throughout the course of each buying season, the position will support Buyers with sales and data analysis as requested. Attention to detail and a passion for Excel are required. The position requires a strong background in a data entry or an administrative office support role. The Data Analyst Coordinator must be someone who is a detail oriented self-starter with good communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to adapt to the changing requirements of the retail business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Data entry and data coordination for all vendor data being entered into the Store POS and SDC Buying systems.
• Coordinate data entry responsibilities with Buying Team.
• Work with information & spreadsheets provided by vendors and e-catalogue providers to ensure proper information is entered for members and our website.
• Work both independently and with the Senior Buyers Assistants to keep buying programs and vendor product information up to date.
• Support and attend SDC Buying Shows in July and November.
• Support store members with Excel and system questions through the year.
• Help to analyze product sales data and provide sales performance results to Buying Team.
• Consistency and attention to detail is extremely important in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Post-Secondary Education in Administration or equivalent work experience is desired.
• Advanced experience in Excel is required including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and the ability to learn advanced formulas.
• Experience supporting retail or vendor administrative duties are a strong asset.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Great teamwork skills and ability to multi-task.
