Our growing Burlington client who is a leader in the "Security" industry is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years related experience and the following are the responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Administrative Assistant performs a variety of confidential and clerical support functions for the senior management team. Uses a variety of software applications to produce reports, maintain databases and develop presentation materials. A critical component of the role is the ability to prepare tender responses so a strong MS Word background is a must. Schedules and coordinates meetings, distributes agendas, takes minutes and follows up as necessary. Processes and disseminates information including employee files, human resources, and other correspondence. We are an employee based service business so an HR background is beneficial.
The Role:
• Performing receptionist duties, handling and directing calls as appropriate
• Office administrative duties
• Preparing tender responses, editing of Newsletter
• Act as Executive Assistant to the Senior Management team
• Organizing company events, annual golf tournament
• Scheduling employee appointments, interviews, hiring fairs
• Detailed recording of meeting minutes
• Research projects
• Performing data entry and updating computer databases on a regular basis
• Performing research, word processing, maintaining spreadsheets

The Candidate:
• 3-4 years of related administrative experience
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel and Powerpoint
• Fast learner of web based programs utilized within our organization
• Detail oriented and strong ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
Strong communication skills, and the ability to have a friendly yet professional demeanor
