Adecco is currently hiring for Administrative Assistant in Toronto, ON. To qualify for this Administrative Assistant role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business related industry, 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry preferably with AML exposure, excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and risk-oriented mindset, ability to work individually as well in a team environment, and have advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Our client is a highly innovative and reliable organization that specializes in mutual funds. This Administrative Assistant position is a 9-month contract and has a pay rate of $14.00 per hour.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
• Responsible for analyzing and reviewing transactions on a case by case basis, and resolve or escalate as needed
• Responsible for identifying, escalating, and/or report any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines
• Ensure all transactions are actioned by deadlines
• Ensure a full understanding and adherence to corporate Risk Policy and Standard Operations Procedures
• Participate in self-testing and other related audit requirements
• Responsible for supporting team initiatives, by l earning and completing job related functions, thus meeting departmental goals and objectives
• Ensure all daily/monthly reports are processed accurately and efficiently to meet internal standards and team goals

Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance and/or Accounting
• 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with AML exposure
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and risk-oriented mindset
• Ability to work individually as well in a team environment providing support, assistance, and guidance
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to multitask, ensure accuracy, and executive against pre-determined deadlines
