Adecco is currently hiring for an Administrative Assistant in Toronto, ON. The purpose of an administrative assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions. To qualify for this Administrative Assistant role, you must be available from Mon-Fri from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. This is a 3-month contract with a pay rate of $13.00 - $15.00 an hour.

Administrative Assistant required Responsibilities:
• Performing general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
• Preparing invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents
• Filing and retrieving corporate documents, records, and reports
• Opening, sorting and distributing incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails
• Preparing responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries

Administrative Assistant required Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of administrative experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Strong calendar management experience
• Must be able to articulate and communicate (written and verbal) on a business professional level
• Able to meet deadlines within restricted time
• Able to take initiative, work well both independently and within team, and acquire good problem solving skills
• High school diploma or GED required
