Our Client located in MARKHAM has an immediate opportunity for an Administrative Assistant-LONG TERM CONTRACT.
This Administrative Assistant position will be Monday to Friday-8:30am to 5:00pm.
This Administrative Assistant opportunity includes reporting to 3 Managers, a very well know Large Organization.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT IN MARKHAM
JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant
JOB PURPOSE: Improve office efficiency by providing support to VP & 2 General Managers.
REPORTS TO: Vice President & General Manager
STATUS: Regular, Full Time
TRAVEL: None


ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS FOR THIS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Results will reflect that the candidate is a highly motivated, professional, energetic, and results and detail oriented individual, with an ability to provide high quality, error free work on time with minimum supervision.
The primary result expected from the Administrative Assistant will be to provide day to day administrative support to the VP & GM. The Administrative Assistant, additional responsibilities include special projects as specified by the VP & GM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Day to day administrative support for Vice President & General Manager, including meeting requirements, travel plans, PowerPoint presentations, expense reports, etc.

Daily calculation/distribution/troubleshooting of daily and regional sales/monthly SAP sales and other reports. Analyzing specific areas of sales information as directed by VP & GM.

Any special projects as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years experience as an Administrative Assistant
Ability to successfully communicate with all levels of the organization is critical
Proven analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent keyboarding speed and accuracy
Ability to provide high quality, error free work with minimum supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Selected candidate will be punctual, energetic, articulate, positive and professional
Proficiency using MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
This is a temporary fixed term contract position (initially one year, potential to be extended).
