Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Project Assistant (Commercial Construction) job in Edmonton, AB. The Project Assistant (Commercial Construction) position requires the incumbent MUST HAVE a minimum of 2-5 years of office administrative experience in a commercial construction setting. You will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with documentation, submittals and day to day relevant activities. Project Assistant (Commercial Construction) Responsibilities:

*Change order pricing and documentation, attending meetings and drafting minutes and contracts

*Ensure accurate and timely project administration including pricing change orders, tracking requests for information, processing of shop drawings, document control, and communication to all stakeholders

*Work closely with project team members and Project Managers to identify, develop, implement, and support cost-effective project delivery

*Project administration, including preparation, processing and tracking of contract and subcontract documents, communications, change orders, requests for information, shop drawings, operations and maintenance manuals and other project related documents

*Filing and archiving of project documents

*Expediting or coordinating information submitted by consultants, trades and suppliers

*All project documents including submittals, requests for information, site instructions, correspondence, minutes, etc. are complete, accurate and controlled


*High school graduate in addition to post-secondary education in business/admin, technical college, etc. is a requirement for this positon

*MUST HAVE a minimum of two years of related work experience in an administrative role in a construction setting

*Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point including the ability to learn

*Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment

*Team player who possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills

*Well organized, dedicated and career minded
