Our client, one of the top 5 largest banks is looking to hire an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant. This is temp role with great potential to become perm. In this role, you will use your skills and experience to provide support to a team of professionals and work your way around in different departments and teams, helping out where needed. You must love working in an environment where the pace is ?fast and faster? and where priorities can change with a moments notice. Duties/Responsibilities for the Senior Administrative Assistant job in Toronto, ON, can include, but are not limited to:

*Provide administrative/executive support to a group of banking professionals

*Provide back-up support to other Administrative Assistant(s) within group

*Coordinate complex international travel arrangements, conferences and other events

*Manage calendars and daily activities for all members of the group

*Book travel and manage logistics for clients as needed

*Responsible for document retention

*Some preparation of client presentations and complex spreadsheets/charts/graphs/tables

*Telephone coverage, word processing, preparing correspondence

*Photocopying, scanning and binding presentation material and other various documents

*Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements for the Senior Administrative Assistant job in Toronto, ON:

*Undergraduate Degree required

*A minimum of 2-5 years' of direct Administrative Assistant experience at the senior level

*Must be flexible, adaptable and able to work in a highly professional environment

*Excellent judgment and strong prioritizing skills

*Canadian Securities Course would be an asset

*Ability to work under minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative

*Flexibility to work overtime and work on-call with a provided blackberry - can be evenings and weekends due to time-zone differences

*Superior interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

*Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 2010 Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

*Must be professional, polished and discreet

*Exceptionally strong organizational skills and attention to detail

*Excellent follow-up and problem solving skills

*Ability to make intuitive decisions and prioritize work

*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a highly challenging environment

*Ability to identify the importance of issues and projects and to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
