Our client in Markham, ON is looking for a Bilingual (English/French) Administrative Assistant to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis. The Bilingual Sales Analyst reports to the National & Regional Accounts Manager. This role will encompass a variety of daily functions that range but are not limited to those listed below:

• Key member of the sales team, partaking in the execution of daily tasks and contributing to the successful preparation and on-going review of the annual sales target.
• Analyze sales performance of accounts, trade classes and sales territories on an on-going basis.
• Set-up new styles and monitor/maintain existing styles in Account based applications.
• Generate and distribute reports to executive management.
• Daily interaction with independent sales contractors and accounts by phone and email.
• Create presentations for meetings between sales department and account buyers.
• Process and administer any sales incentive programs. Create written communication (in English & French) to outline program directives to sales force/accounts.
• Prepare product assortment proposals for accounts, follow-through with all things necessary to ensure that programs are put in place and maintained.
• Assist with coordination of National Sales Meetings (held twice annually).
• Long-term goal is to assist with product planning functions such as the purchasing and forecasting of product as applicable to certain trade classes/accounts.

Skill Set Required for this Position:
• Strong computer skills are necessary. The ideal candidate this position would possess advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word knowledge. Experience with web-based Portals and ability to quickly learn new environments an asset.
• This employee may interact with accounts in person. A polished professional appearance and attitude is required to succeed in this role.
• Excellent language skills, both written and spoken, for communication with accounts.
• Fluency in both spoken and written French is a must.
• Flexibility in terms of hours of work, recognizing that there will be a need for overtime.
• The ability to analyze and manipulate data to retrieve relevant information and present to management in an organized and easy to interpret manner.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task, to work on several projects simultaneously, to manage multiple inputs.
• Must be a quick learner, proactive, pay attention to detail, and enjoy a busy environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, their own vehicle, and the willingness/ability to travel
