Our client in Scarborough, ON is looking for an Office Coordinator to join their team.

Prepare new hire packages, prepare desks, desk phones and prepare basic supply package for first day, set-up for new hire orientation

Track and coordinate mandatory Health & Safety training
Maintaining the condition of the office & office equipment
Point of contact for any visitors to the site

Manage relationship with suppliers for Office equipment
Liaises with security contact to coordinate new pass cards

Assign and track lockers and locks for production staff
Order uniforms for new Production staff

Oversees servicing and operation of office equipment
Purchasing of office supplies and small solar consumables
Manage relationship with third party Cleaners
Administrative support to Health & Safety committee (agenda, minutes, scheduling meetings, update H&S boards)
Receive and send couriers
Plan for, and coordinate, health and safety training including but not limited to: WHMIS, Personal Protection Equipment, CPR/First Aid, and specialized training (if required)
Monitor employees and subcontractors on site for compliance to safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and management system elements
Develop, maintain and continually improve H&S programs and processes and support the management system for all companies
Provide required monthly safety performance reports to management, identify trends, recommend initiatives to reduce incidents and improve prevention initiatives
Act as the Primary H&S contact and liaison for the site
Coordinate flow of documentation with HR & Finance departments at head office
Prepare weekly payroll summary for head office (payroll/HR team)
Support the Site Manager with any required tasks
Processing purchasing request for the goods / services needed locally
Monitoring consumable inventories to ensure timely delivery of goods
Organizing supply / shipping and receiving of goods to the site
