Our client in Markham, ON is currently seeking a full-time Events Specialist to join its team on a full time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Sales and Marketing team to determine and plan best shows to attend;
Ensure that each trade show has the required space reserved, as well as display fixtures, products, promotional materials and people to adequately represent the brand;
Provide excellent organization, coordination and execution of all shows and events;
Oversee and organize events specific to company and its dealer group;
Work with organizers and third party vendors to help build and execute successful sales meetings, events and tradeshows;
Provide support for execution of all details related to corporate sponsorships;
Work with existing sponsors and potential sponsors to help establish effective partnerships and events that effectively represent the brand;
Organize activities specific to each sponsorship agreement;
Product scheduling support


University degree / college diploma or equivalent experience required;
Experience in the field of event planning and on-site supervision/execution;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Promotional understanding of print, digital platforms and social media to enable event promotion;
Self-motivated and highly organized;
Customer-service oriented;
Travel at regional, national, and international level;
Bilingual (English/French)
