Our client, a leading manufacturing company in the Aerospace industry, is looking for an Inventory Management Planner for their GTA location.

Some of the tasks include but are not limited to:


Develop, report out on daily, weekly and monthly inventory levels at all warehouses within the plant.
Analyze past usage to determine appropriate lead times and batch sizes, while utilizing ABC analysis.
Review and analyze safety stock levels and adjust where necessary.
Oversee the cycle count process and make recommendations for changes.
Lead projects within manufacturing to support lead time reduction. Through part family cell creations, set-up reduction opportunities, Kanban systems etc.
Identify and lead scheduling enhancements to support inventory lead time reduction.
Liaise with procurement, planning, engineering and manufacturing departments to support various projects.
Present projects, lead meetings and develop cost justifications as required to support project ideas.
All other duties as assigned



College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
APIC or CPIM certification is considered an asset.
7 to 10 years in production planning/manufacturing role.
Aerospace experience preferred.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Considerable knowledge of laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to inventory management practices.
Familiarity with Visual Management, an INFOR system, an asset.
Demonstrated understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories.
Exceptional forecasting ability with strong analytical and interpretive skills.
Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office software suites.
Knowledge of local and global markets for the industry.
A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
