Adecco is currently seeking a project engineer for its client, a multinational in the industrial field, to deliver projects in Labrador City. This is a full-time job for a six to twelve months contract.

Responsibilities and duties of the project engineer:

* Coordinates engineering activities for the defined area of responsibility for the full project life cycle;
* Provides engineering support on budget and progress to project stakeholders;
* Coordinates engagement and performance of external engineering contractor and suppliers;
* Provides effective engineering reporting of progress, cost and scheduling to meet project requirements;
* Works with project planning and scheduling to develop and maintain the project schedule;
* Ensuring compliance with standardized project processes, systems and tools across projects;
* Supporting the management of project vendors including performance against contract deliverables;
* Supporting the development and implementation of an effective stakeholder engagement plan across projects;
* Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive a culture of collaboration, participation and improvement.

Qualifications :

* Must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering;
* A ten years experience is required (mechanical or electrical)
* Strong computer software skills including Word, Excel & MS Project;
* Possess an automation background (an asset).
