Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent Auditor role in the Greater Toronto Area. To be considered for this Auditor role, you must have demonstrated a strong business acumen with excellent knowledge of internal control elements as related to a publically traded organization. Auditor Responsibilities:

Be responsible for the identification and documentation of all current disclosure controls and procedures of a facility.
Review and test the current disclosure controls and procedures to identify the effectiveness of their application.
Evaluate and comment on existing or potential procedural and business control deficiencies in the organization’s current control procedures.
Identify and evaluate procedural changes to optimize current processes for greater efficiency and/or effectiveness.
Ensure that appropriate, accurate and timely communication is relayed to all individuals directly or indirectly affected by any changes required to be made.

Auditor Qualifications:

Must have obtained your CPA designation or equivalent.
Previous experience auditing public companies.
Clear understanding of all legislative and regulatory corporate governance requirements, as well as disclosure control elements/features.
Ability to identify corporate governance issues by analyzing business processes, disclosure and internal controls necessary for the financial reporting of an international corporation.
Ability to discuss a variety of accounting and work-related topics with co-workers and colleagues. Present financial information to managers and supervisors.
Ability to work in a fully computerized environment including knowledge of IFS, SAP BPC and advanced MS Excel skills is an asset.
Continuously maintain current knowledge of all related Acts and Regulations.
