Adecco is currently hiring for a Water Proposal Manager, in GTA (Toronto or Kitchener/Waterloo). Our client is seeking a self-starting Water Proposal Manager to oversee promotional events and improve client retention within their Buildings Division. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude, a tireless work ethic and an insatiable appetite for growth.
The compensation package begins at a base salary of $90 000 annually, plus paid over-time, 3 weeks? vacation, full customizable benefits and continual training to their staff.
The Water Proposal Manager?s Key Responsibilities Include:
*The Water Proposal Manager will be serving as a part of the team responsible for implementing the business development process on large, strategic pursuits; partnering with water leadership to develop distinctive value propositions that clearly differentiate the firm and develop strategic sales deliverables.
*Leveraging company-wide network to identify and put forward the firm?s unique capabilities and resources.
*Developing and advancing client relationships prior to identification of a specific project opportunity.
*Developing high-quality, opportunity-specific response documents (SOQs, proposals, presentations, etc.) with competitive and compelling sales messages
*Full scale RFP cycle including:
*Client, competitor, and market research; pulling and tracking top client capital plans; supporting the development of top client account management plans; supporting client engagement activities - conferences, industry events, etc.
*Actively support development and implementation of pursuit-specific action plans, document due diligence in project brief; develop win plan and SWOT analyses; conduct preliminary strategy review, and identify execution team.
*Plan, organize, and direct all elements to analyze client request, develop response plan including Marketing and Business Development budget, response team, compliance check-list, response outline, schedule, initiate follow-up, facilitate strategy review, conduct kick-off meeting, manage and work with pursuit team to develop response sections, lead in-progress reviews, prepare red team review package, incorporate red team input, and ensure on-time response delivery.
The Water Proposal Mandatory Qualifications Include:
*Marketing experience in Architecture, Buildings Engineering & Consulting and/or Construction
*Experience in Water sector as well as design-build and P3 projects and asset.
*Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, public relations or an equivalent level of experience.
*Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a marketing role for a medium to large firm; experience working on multi-million-dollar large scale projects.
*Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
*Strong analytical and project management skills
*Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment proven experience developing responses to detailed requests for proposals (RFPs).
*Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills.
*Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and web-based interfaces.
*Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
