Adecco is currently hiring for an Operations Officer I job in Toronto, ON. The main function of the Operations Officer is preparing the transfer out request of Arm’s Length mortgages to other financial institutions. To qualify for the Operations Officer role, you must be available to work full time from Mon-Fri 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. This is a one year contract with a pay rate for this position is $15.53.

Operations Officer I Job required Responsibilities:
• Preparing transfer out request of Arm’s Length mortgages to other financial institutions
• Filing paperwork in plan holder accounts
• Preparing information statements
• Scanning all incoming mail
• Tracking all incoming cheques on excel and filing of plan holder accounts.
• Maintaining sufficient backup for audit trails on all transactions.
• Ensuring all outstanding items are followed-up on an ongoing basis.

Operations Officer I Job required Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in mortgages, preferably experience with payout statements.
• Experience working with mortgages required
• Strong computer skills including a fundamental understanding of MS applications coupled with the ability to learn and apply skills to new software programs.
• Knowledge of Accounting is an asset.
• Able to meet deadlines within restricted time
• Able to take initiative, work well both independently and within team, and acquire good problem solving skills
• Banking / financial experience considered an asset
