Roevin Engineering is currently hirng for a Information Manager role in Durham region.

We are seeking for someone who has Library Sciences background.

This position is for someone with a Library Sciences Degree or an Information Management Diploma who focus more on corporate governance around records keeping - such things as records classification schemes, records inventory, privacy issues, email and social media policies, etc.
For the most part, the RIM Analysts are still dealing with paper filing systems and manual processes.

Requirements:

*A post-secondary diploma in Records and Information Management, Library Sciences, Archival Studies or equivalent

*A minimum of 2 years related experience in records and information management

*Experience with and proven knowledge of MS Office applications, Project Management software and Records Management software

*Demonstrated experience in project management and familiarity with project management methodologies

*Demonstrated experience or training in business process analysis and re-engineering and workflow analysis

*Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in information analysis and research methodologies

*Sound knowledge of government guidelines and legislation, in particular MFIPPA and PHIPA, technical, industry and professional records and information.
