Adecco is currently recruiting for an IFRS Reporting Analust for our client, a crown corporation, for a 6 month contract to start with the possibility of extension. Located in the south-central part of Ottawa, the IFRS Reporting Analyst will be assisting in the planning and implementation of the new accounting standards for leases.

IFRS Reporting Analyst Responsibilities:

- Planning and implementation of the new accounting standard for leases (IFRS16)
- Revision of internal processes
- Performing detailed analysis of a large volume of existing contracts
- Working with IT team to assist in the selection and implementation of a new lease accounting software

IFRS Reporting Analyst Requirements:

- CPA accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) is required
- International Financial Reporting Standards knowledge is required, knowledge of IFRS 16 would be an asset
- 5-10 years of work experience interpreting and applying accounting standards
- Experience using SAP
- Project management and/or IT implementation experience would be an asset
- Currently hold or be eligible for Reliability Status security clearance
