Adecco is currently hiring for a Controller job in Calgary, AB. To qualify for this role, you must have at least five years of senior accounting experience and is designated. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. Our client is a growing company with a presence throughout Canada and the US. The compensation for this position is competitive, and will include comprehensive benefits.

Controller Requirements:

Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and management reports
Maintain and develop systems, controls, and procedures to enhance efficiency
Ensure financial records are maintained in accord with GAAP
Providing support to the CFO in the areas of tax planning, financing strategies, corporate restructuring, IT, and administration
Communication with auditors, banks, and CRA
Prepare internal reports and analysis
Cash flow and treasury management
Consolidation of financial statements and notes


Completion of CPA designation
Five years of experience in a senior accounting positon
Experience managing a small accounting staff
Experience working in a manufacturing company would be preferred
Proficient in the MS Office suite of software
Proficient in ERP systems, including Great Plains
Strong organizational and management skills
