Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Property Management Controller (CPA) job in EDMONTON, AB. The Property Management Controller (CPA) position will require the incumbent to possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior level accounting / supervisory role combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property management accounting. Our client is offering a base salary of $90K-$110K plus several additional perks including bonuses, parking, 3 weeks? vacation, benefits, room for career advancement and work/life balance! The work location of this role will be based in Edmonton -all interested candidates must be available for relocation.

Property Management Controller Responsibilities:


*Oversee a large accounting department of 15 staff with 4 senior level direct reports

*Manage preparation and reporting of financial results to clients including cash flow reporting and distribution

*Review, revise, and implement departmental policy and procedure regarding all project accounting

*Establish, review and maintain internal controls

*Manage processes including regular EFT transmissions, fee calculation and payment from properties to corporate, trust requirements such as bank reconciliation completion with broker approval

*Coordinate the annual budget process, including review of all property budgets

*Act as a main point of contact with clients and client representatives on any accounting/financial issues


Qualifications:


*The incumbent will possess a CMA/CGA or CPA designation coupled with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in a senior level accounting role within the real estate and/or property management industry.

*Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills

*Possess several years of experience coaching, mentoring and supervising a team of accounting processionals

*Have the ability to interact directly with clients when the need arises

*Be a team player who is self-directed, confident and is seeking a long term career in a stable, structured and friendly environment!
