Adecco is currently hiring a Controller for client in Pickering,ON. To be considered for this Controller role in Pickering, ON candidate MUST have no less than 2 years of experience as a Controller or an equivalent Manager, have a CPA (CGA,CA, CMA) and no less than 5 years of Canadian Senior Accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

*Prepare monthly reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts

*Responsible for the integrity of the AP / AR and Fixed Assets sub-ledgers.

*Assist in preparation of annual budget

*Assist in development and ongoing maintenance of standard costing system

*Prepare and enter the majority of month-end journal entries

*Co-ordinate the monthly closing of all sub-ledgers in the G/L

*Prepare monthly actual vs. budget departmental reports and schedule meetings to review results.

*Prepare several Statistics Canada reports as required

*Co-ordinate preparation of month-end financial statements

Basic Requirements:

*University degree, CPA, CA, CMA, CGA preferred

*3-5 year?s progressive experience in a manufacturing environment

*Possess excellent communication skills (spoken & written - English

*Possess strong computer skills - especially Microsoft Office
