Adecco is currently hiring 2 Customer Service Representative (bilingual or unilingual) for our client in Whitby, ON. To qualify for this Customer Service Representative opportunity you must have 2+ years of previous working experience in a similar role and fluency in English or French.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

- Conduct all internal and external business in a thoroughly professional, courteous and efficient manner, representing the company by meeting and/or exceeding our Customer & Consumer Care expectations.
- Adhere to safe work practices, instructions and rules. Perform work duties in a manner that ensures health and safety of all employees.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers.
- Provide meaningful recommendations to improve efficiencies within the team

Responsibilities:

- Manage customer transactions from order to payment cycle, fulfilling expectations
- Respond to customer telephone, email and fax inquiries
- Enhance key contact relationships with customers
- Support the manufacturing and distribution operations
- Provide products and service information to consumer either online through chat, email or phone
- Liaise with other departments to resolve consumer issues

As a professional front line contact you will be an expert at troubleshooting consumer issues by capturing all product consumer feedback

Education, Skills and Competencies Required:

- Post-Secondary diploma in Business Administration/Marketing preferred
- if Bilingual, then French (verbal & written) required
- 2+ years’ experience working in a customer/consumer focused environment (phone/chat/email)
- Excellent telephone manner, listening skills, enjoy problem solving and working with customer/consumers
- Excellent computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office internet & intranet experience & the ability to navigate through multiple software applications with speed and accuracy. Salesforce experience an asset
- Strong verbal/written communication and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Results oriented, possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Self motivation to work under own initiative and maintain a positive, professional environment
- Ability to accept coaching and implement feedback
- Knowledge and experience in the office products industry an asset
