Our growing Guelph client who specializes in car rentals is looking for Client Service Specialists to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years customer service experience and will also have a G2 or G license. The following will be the responsibilites:
You will endorse promotions, products and services at the counter and on the phone. Use questioning
techniques to determine customer¿s needs and recommend products and services to best serve them.
Provide service that ¿goes the extra mile¿ with customers. Open and close rental agreements and
complete billing to customers. Complete insurance authorizations and extensions. In addition, perform
miscellaneous duties as needed. Be a team player in the Branch.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Relations:
¿ Meet, acknowledge and establish rapport with customers immediately in a friendly and
professional manner.
¿ Take control of and manage the customer¿s situation so that customer needs are determined
quickly and accurately. Then develop options and choices.
¿ Maintain a good working relationship with clients who refer customer¿s e.g. insurance company,
dealership and body shop staff.
¿ Familiar with specialized accounts needs, establish and maintain rapport with each employee
from all local accounts, e.g. provide a GM car to a GM dealership.
¿ Develop relationship with prominent accounts holders, e.g. Dealerships, Auto body shops.
Sales Ability:
¿ Use all inbound telephone techniques to book a reservation.
¿ Collect sales leads to gain new corporate accounts.
¿ Handling all aspects of paper work accurately and in a timely fashion.
¿ Know all the rental procedures including:
o Open and close rental agreements for the following customer types: Replacement, Retail,
Corporate and Tour.
o Inform renters of all rental requirements.
o Obtain credit card and insurance authorizations as needed.
o Understand rates/kilometer limits and rental periods.
o Maintaining the mailing of Head Office paperwork on a daily basis.
o Understands receivables and bad debt.
o Complete bank deposits on a daily basis.

¿ Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure that vehicles are properly checked in and out.
¿ Responsible for the proper cleaning of vehicles upon return and before going out on rent.
¿ Pick up and drop off customers as required.
¿ Assist customers with their belongings during pick up.
¿ Explain vehicle features to customers.

Please note that the hours will range anywhere from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday. You must have strong customer service and communication skills. You must also have strong computer skills.Please note that that you are hourly paid $13.22/hr plus the potential for bonus.
