Roevin Technology is hiring for a UX Designer for one of our leading technology clients located in Vancouver, BC. This is an excellent contract opportunity with a possibility for multiple extensions that would allow the UX Designer to create engaging experience designs that help define the UI experience within the gaming industry.

The ideal candidates will be passionate about design, possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a large cross-functional team.

UX Designer Responsibilities:

-Create wireframes and flow documents
-Conduct user research, competitive analyses, and team ideation sessions
-Adhere to user-centered design principles, maintain consistency and high quality of the user experience
-Stay on top of UX trends
-Maintain a positive work environment and foster a strong sense of creativity and passion for excellence.

UX Designer Qualifications:

-3-5 years of relevant experience in UX within Web and/or gaming
-Experience in wireframing software required (Visio is preferred)
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
-Must have a portfolio demonstrating strong design process and wireframing skills
-Experience designing interactive experiences on console an asset
-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite an asset
-Experience with Axure RP, Adobe Xd, or similar prototyping software an asset
-Interest in video games an asset.
