LMS Administrator Job in Edmonton, AB

We are looking to fill an LMS Administrator Job in Edmonton, AB. The LMS Administrator will be responsible for providing technical support for the learning management system (LMS) to all areas of the organization. Working with limited supervision, this individual is responsible for administering training (according to Corporate requirements and/or HSE training matrix) including but not limited to reviewing system configuration to ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements, development of custom reports, content audits, contributing to training strategy (e.g. competencies), recording completed training courses/classroom sessions, revisions, notifications, reporting and record issuance. This role also assists in the development of training content and materials to be launched, tracked and completed in the system.

LMS Administrator Job responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of administering the LMS which may include but not limited to the following:

Assignment of courses
Scheduled offerings of courses
Assignment profiles
Attendance status for courses
Curriculum management
Exam creation
Survey creation
Report creation and distribution
Upload online content

LMS Administrator Job qualifications:

Have advanced skills in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint and web-based applications.
Have superior analytical skills.
Hold training experience in a technical environment, especially Web based software applications is desirable.
Possess proven ability to determine root cause and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Are self-directed and able to manage competing priorities.
Possess extraordinary problem solving/troubleshooting skills to resolve issues of both the technical and training variety - logically and quickly.
Have the ability to coordinate with diverse, cross-functional teams to help all key stakeholders
Exhibit exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - are critical, both internally and externally and in a virtual environment.
Exhibit proven ability to multitask and provide very timely support to all clients while meeting the business goals and objectives.

Are able to lead and manage projects.
Possess a strong capacity and desire to learn new technologies.
