SENIOR RESOURCE ESTIMATION GEOLOGIST
TORONTO and NORTHERN ONTARIO

Due to major ongoing projects our client has multiple requirements for a Senior Resource Estimation Geologist.

Responsibilities:

Conduct engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility)
Provide operational advice and due diligence/independent reporting projects to clients
Establish and maintain client relationships
Function in a team environment, and network with experienced professionals

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and reviewing geological models and resource estimates; exploration and database management.
A first degree in geology or mining engineering
A minimum of 6 years of resource estimation experience (preferably including industry experience)
Strong geostatistical skills
Proficiency with computerised resource estimation tools
Prior consulting experience is considered an asset


The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of geostatistical theory with resource estimation and operational mining experience


Previous experience with the following responsibilities; analysis of the deposit data available including verification and database management; creation of 2D and/or 3D geological and mineralization models for the deposit; statistical and geostatistical analyses of the data
