The Sr. Process Integrity Engineer job in Calgary, Alberta, is a full time contract position with our Oil & Gas client. In this role, you will support the development, implementation and sustainment of the operational excellence management system and risk management.

Responsibilities of the Senior Process Integrity Engineer include:

*Drive closure of CA/QRA (Consequence Analysis / Quantitative Risk Assessment ) recommendations and develop Final Risk Acceptance Summary for the facility

*Responsible to provide input assumptions and validate output results for risk assessment studies conducted by third party consultants

*Develop OEMS Element 2- PHA implementation plan

*Provide technical coaching to members for consistent application of PHA processes

*Responsible to provide Process Safety input for investigations of Process Safety related incidents

*Validate scope and support facilitation of risk assessment studies for completion scope and other technical/ Process Safety critical changes

*Responsible to provide Process Safety support for completion of Operations Readiness Checklist

*Assist in the technical competency roadmap for all technical personnel as it relates to Risk Management

*Perform other Process Safety and Integrity roles as required by the Manager Process Safety and Integrity

*Initially the role includes conducting completion scope risk review and audit MOCs .


*University degree in Chemical Engineering

*P.ENG Designation in Alberta

*12 to 15 years? experience in Process Engineering/ Process Safety/ plant operations

*Extensive experience of Process Integrity and risk management in Oil and Gas or equivalent industries

*Knowledge of regulations and codes related to risk management

*Previous experience in dispersion Modeling using PHAST, or equivalent tools and PHAs

*Competency assessment of third party facilitators/engineers

*Demonstrated ability in driving technically oriented solutions

*Ability to build and navigate through key relationships with cross-functional, internal and corporate technical stakeholders

*Demonstrated ability to oversee work and coach and mentor members to produce desired outcomes
