Roevin is currently hiring for an On-Call Desktop Support Technician in Ottawa, ON. To be considered for this On-Call Desktop Support Technician role, you must have experience in providing technical support such as trouble shooting, repair, reinstall or reprogram of software and hardware. Salary will be according to the industry average with other benefits as mileage reimbursement.

On-Call Desktop Support Technician Role & Responsibilities:

*Travel to various client locations across the city and arrive on-site within 3 hours of the request being made to provide desktop and/or printer troubleshooting support

*Analyze and investigate problems on-site

*Repair, substitute or reinstall or reprogram software as necessary

*Testing & error checking of solutions

*Backup data as necessary in order to restore functionality

*Provide technical documentation and/or materials upon request or as necessary: May include running networking and telecom wires including ceilings and wall runs.

On-Call Desktop Support Technician Qualifications:

*Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in deploying, configuring and installing computer hardware and software

*Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in supporting Windows operating system environments

*A+ certification or equivalent

*Ability to work independently

*Must be able to pass a criminal background check
