One of our clients in the Mississauga area is looking to bring on a Help Desk Associate for a 6 month contract with the potential to go fulltime. As the Help Desk Associate you will be responsible for the day to day Internal/External end user support requirements as it pertains to peripherals, VPN access, security/rights permissions, desktop support (both hardware/software), new user setup and training. Furthermore, the Help Desk Associate will spend much of his/her time providing application support for all internal proprietary software applications which are used within the organization. As the Help Desk Associate you will not be required to work shift hours, but rather will need to be onsite Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5pm

As a potential candidate for the Help Desk Associate position, our Mississauga client requires that you have a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a Help Desk capacity. This experience may include a combination of both phone and desk-side support. Our client is looking for the Help Desk Associate to have strong hands on support experience with such software applications as Office 2007/2010, Windows 7, Active Directory, SharePoint 2007/2010, Adobe Acrobat Professional and VMware. In this role, the Help Desk Associate will be required to work with internal staff members from all department and at all levels, with that said, our client is looking for potential candidates to have strong interpersonal skills as well as strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Experience having used ticketing systems such as Track-it, Heat or Remedy would be considered an asset.
