We have a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist job available in Toronto, ON. Working in Adecco's internal corporate HR department, the HR Generalist will provide direct support to Adecco's Colleagues and Managers in the areas of employee relations, recruitment and training (among others), in French and English.

The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in both official languages, along with the flexibility to thrive in a fast paced, multitasking environment. In-depth knowledge of Quebec labour and employment laws along with strong problem solving ability is critical in this role. Previous experience in the staffing industry is an asset.

The Bilingual Human Resources Generalist job duties and responsibilities include:

*Provides educated advice and solutions to Adecco's Colleague inquiries on temporary Associate and business issues that relate to Human Resources. Provides guidance and support to managers, ensuring preferred coaching methods are followed and legal exposure is minimized.

*Responds to employment related complaints as necessary, ensuring Adecco's financial obligations are minimized and any wrongdoing corrected.

*Utilizes available tools and resources to create, coordinate and deliver Human Resources and other training and communication that allow our field staff to effectively perform their roles.

*Directly recruits for and facilitates all aspects of the recruitment process for team support and manager level positions including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, testing and reference checking

*Develops, implements and administers programs and policies as they relate to effective employee relations within Adecco, including participation in Great Place to Work initiatives

*Promotes Adecco's values and culture through Human Resources programs and practices ensuring people are "living" the Adecco way.

*Reviews turnover, exit interview and other data to identify any branch or regional issues and responds as necessary to ensure acceptable retention levels for Colleagues are met.

Bilingual Human Resources Generalist Qualifications:

*Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.

*A minimum of 5 years related experience, ideally in a Human Resources Generalist position supporting Quebec employees

*In depth knowledge of national labour and employment laws.

*Strong technical aptitude with applicant tracking systems, HRIS and PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail applications.

*Superior fluency in both French and English is required (written and spoken)
