We are currently looking for a talent acquisition specialist to take on a significant challenge with a major client in the Scarborough area. The company, a Canadian leader in manufacturing of retail presentation products, is growing and will have many new positions to be filled in 2017. This position is contractual, for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension and you will work directly with the client in Scarborough.

As a talent acquisition specialist, you will need to take a global look at the current recruitment process in order to make the necessary changes to improve it, making it quicker and more efficient, while ensuring no bottlenecks impacting recruitment for all open positions are created. You will work in conjunction with the company's HR team and you will be supported by a remote 2 person Adecco team, consisting of a recruiter and an administrative coordinator.

Therefore, you must take charge of the following:

Intake recruitment mandates from hiring managers to understand each job well and thus build clear job descriptions
Determine different recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Work in a team with the recruiter and the coordinator to perform the hiring steps effectively: screening, telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews, background checks, etc.
Accompany managers in face-to-face interviews, to guide them, coach them and help them make a good selection of candidates
Ensure that the staffing process in place is lean, efficient and timely to give candidates an excellent experience with the client and maintain a good employer image.

Your main objective will be to make the necessary improvements to the recruitment process to make it efficient, work with best practices in attracting talent and ultimately succeed in filling the many positions, more than 100 permanent positions, (Operations, purchasing, administration, finance, etc.) that will need to be filled in 2017.

You will be part of Adecco's Recruitment Consulting team and will report directly to the National Director of the Business Line. We are looking for the following profile:

3-4 years of experience in recruitment
Employment Related Studies
Good knowledge of best practices in talent acquisition
Good communication and persuasion skills
Ability to manage different issues
Ability to perform under pressure and in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent team spirit
