A Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist job in London, ON is currently available in Adecco’s Recruitment Centre of Excellence.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who will be able to assist in developing recruitment programs to attract, identify and source qualified candidates for a reputable and well known client. In order to be successful in this role your strengths center around solid communication and relationship building, strong attention to detail, the skills to manage multiple priorities on an individual level, as well as supporting your team. Your ability to be reliable and flexible are equally as important as your expertise in areas of planning, organising, meeting deadlines, solving issues and making successful decisions.


Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
Prepare/post jobs to appropriate job boards, social media, colleges etc. to attract candidates
Screen candidate resumes and job applications
Conduct telephone pre-screen interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates with the astute ability to accurately assess both job skills and cultural fit
Provide HRIS testing, assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, technical and soft skills, experiences and aptitudes
Ability to track and manage numerous potential candidates; familiarity with HRIS database is considered an asset
Demonstrated track record in taking initiative, working independently and handling multiple priorities simultaneously


Completion of a certificate, diploma or degree related to Human Resources
1-2+ years Human Resources/Recruitment experience
Knowledgeable with Human Rights Act, Canadian Employment Law, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS
Experience to conduct telephone and in person interviews [situational or behavioural] and selection process
Familiar with HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite [including Word, Excel, Outlook]
Knowledgeable with Human Rights Act, Canadian Employment Law, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS
Bilingual French/English is an asset

Security and Safety Criminal record check may be required
