Adecco is currently hiring for a Legal Administrator for our client located in Toronto. Our client is a reputable Property Management company. The Legal Administrator will report to the Legal Services Manager. The compensation package is a base salary of between $40,000 - $45,000, plus a generous bonus structure, 3 weeks’ vacation, standard benefits, free parking and ongoing training and professional development.

Role and Responsibilities

Facilitate and assisting in the preparation, drafting, processing and administration of contracts, including amendments, extensions and terminations.
Ensure all terms, conditions and requested amendments are accurately documented into final versions
Assisting in interpretation of legal documents; maintaining accurate records.
Opening, closing, updating files, and filing them appropriately.
Conducting initial legal and business research; Provide research analysis to assist senior managers to perform market assessments
Miscellaneous clerical work.

Qualifications and Experience

Bilingual (English/French)
1-3 years’ relevant experience; Small Claims Court and Landlord Tenant matters
Process Serving Experience an asset.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-starter, works independently and requires minimal supervision & works well as part of a team.
Proven initiative, problem solving and resourcefulness.
Able to multi-task calmly, work in a fast-paced work environment and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Computer proficiency and excellent customer service skills.
