Our client is looking for a Medicinal Marijuana Processing Manager to join their team on a fulltime basis.
Manage and co-ordinate processing operations in compliance with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and published SOP’s.

Responsibilities:

Manage, train, supervise and schedule team of trim staff.
Design and implement SOP’s ensuring staff follow hygiene and trim standards.
Monitors trim output to meet deadlines and determined quality standards.
Monitor drying process ensuring product dries to specifications.
Ensure the transport of harvested product to drying rooms.
Control costs through efficiencies and minimized waste. Lead new initiative as required.
Ensure post harvest product including waste is handled according to HC Regulations.
Monitor and manage the inventory of tools and supplies required by processing operations.
Monitor performance of dryer air handling units, report problems in a timely manner.
Ensure drying rooms, trim room and all related processing tools are maintained according to SOPs.
Work co-operatively with Quality Assurance as required to maintain product standards.
Participate in strategic discussions regarding processing operations and provide advice to senior management as required.
Ensure work place safety practices are followed by all reports.
Work with hazardous chemicals.
Accurately complete documentation as described by SOPs in a timely manner.
Other duties as directed by the Site Manager.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education preferred
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong literacy and documentation skills, proficient with Microsoft Office.
Methodical and persistent in a fast paced and demanding environment
