Roevin Engineering is currently hiring for a Skilled Trades on a Temp to Perm Contract for an Electrician in Windsor. To be considered for this Electrician role, you must have an Electrician's license in the Province of Ontario or; presently hold a journeyman/woman classification in the skilled trade occupation of Electrician or; have served a bona fide apprenticeship of four (4) years – 8000 hours, and hold certification that substantiates such claim of service or, have eight (8) years of practical experience in this skilled trade classification which he/she claims journeyman/woman status and can prove this practical experience (CAW Journeyman/woman card will be accepted as proof.). Our client is one of the largest Automotive Stamping companies in the Windsor area and have been around for over 85 years. Electrician Responsibilities:


• Perform a wide variety of electrical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical system and equipment to furnish an uninterrupted flow of power and lighting to the facilities.
Plan, lay out and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes
Install switches and controls, central and subsidiary control panels, electronic devices and other gear incidental to the installation.
Diagnose and remedy electrical troubles in all equipment through repair or replacement of necessary apparatus.
Work from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and code books to properly install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishment, using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Provide the necessary support through knowledge of electrical processes to facilitate the movement and reinstallation of machinery and equipment.
Provide the necessary support through knowledge of electrical processes to facilitate the build, assembly and installation of equipment including conveyors, limit switches and sensors.
Assemble the necessary electrical systems on machines.
Install robot and modify its program, using teach pendant.
Perform installation and maintenance work as part of team of skilled trades workers to build, repair and maintain mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment, such as metal fabricating machine tools, material handling systems, and automated lubrication systems by following blueprints, manufacturers specifications and established preventive maintenance schedules.
Inspect and test electronic devices and wiring to detect wear, malfunction, or other problems.
Start machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
Repair broken parts using the appropriate welding apparatus and technique.
Modify computer-controlled motion of robot, applying knowledge of program commands and using robot controller and teach pendant.
Assist supervisory staff, tool room staff, production maintenance technicians, and electricians to troubleshoot machines and equipment including machine components, hydraulic systems and drive mechanisms by applying knowledge of shop mathematics, hydraulics, and mechanics, and using computer keyboard and software programs.
Participate as necessary in the required Process Improvement Department initiatives.


Electrician Qualifications:
