Roevin Engineering is currently hiring for a Thermal Systems Engineer in Mississauga, ON. To be considered for Thermal Systems Engineer role, you must have degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering coupled with 10+ years experience. Our client specializes in the design and construction of test facilities for automotive and aerospace industries. The successful candidate will lead the design of a very large industrial refrigeration/ cooling system for a new test facility.

Thermal Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
-Develop innovative process design of the complete cooling system for very large, complex projects
-Design of industrial refrigeration systems in climatic test facilities. Related components include compressors, evaporators, chiller packages, cooling towers, heat exchangers, heaters, steam boilers, pumps, piping, make-up air systems, air handling systems and air distribution duct systems
-Authoring and co-authoring technical drawings to define the designs and interfaces. AutoCAD is used for our thermal systems drawings
-Authoring and co-authoring technical specifications. Define the specification of thermal systems, including sub-systems and their installation requirements
-Participate in supervising thermal systems equipment site installation, integration and start-up, initially working with the Project Engineer.

Thermal Process Engineer Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering
-10 to 15 years experience
-Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
-Some experience with large refrigeration systems (up to 120 MW) and thermal process design, ideally including some experience with dynamic response cooling systems.
-Understanding of process controls design and electrics
-Experience working with multi-discipline project teams, other engineers and designers
-Proficient in AutoCAD
