Adecco is currently hiring for a Branch Manager for our client located in Toronto, ON. In order to be considered for this position the successful candidate needs to have at least three to five years of experience within an electrical distribution company as well as two to three years of supervisory experience.

Our client is one of the largest electrical distribution suppliers in world with locations across the Canada and the world. They have been in business for over 100 years and are dedicated to professionalism and customer satisfaction. The position of Branch Manager is the first level of management into a large corporation which is a leader within the electrical industry with lots of room for growth.

The compensation package is a base salary range of between $55 000 to $70 000 plus a bonus structure dependent upon performance, 3 weeks’ vacation, RRSP contributions, full benefits and continual training to their staff.

The Branch Manager Key Responsibilities Include:


Ability to manage team within a fast paced, customer focused environment including training, scheduling, hiring, ensuring compliance with company standards
Responsible for achieving branch and sales goals through team motivation and upselling to existing clientele
Accountable for P&L and all operations for branch including budgeting, scheduling work, quotations, sales strategies and any counter sales
Provide positive environment within branch for both staff members and clientele to be in


The Branch Manager Mandatory Qualifications Include:


Three to five years’ experience within the electrical distribution industry plus 2 – 3 years of people management experience
Have strong oral and written communication skills as will be spending a good portion of the day training, managing and ensuring production flow
Strong analysis and stakeholder management experience along with the ability to work with multiple clients both internal and external
Ability to work within a fast paced, physical and detailed environment
Superior organization, prioritization, independent work and time management skills
Post-Secondary Degree plus experience or combination of both education and experience
Strong computer skills including working with Microsoft Office and AS 400
