Adecco in Orangeville is currently hiring Payroll Administrator for a tier one automotive manufacturer, located in Tottenham. This position offers a rewarding career opportunity for those individuals wanting to work in a fast paced, highly automated, manufacturing facility. Our client is requiring additional staff to help support their growing operations


Position Summary: Responsible for administering company payroll for hourly and salary associates.

Position Responsibilities:
Review time and attendance system and punch details, including daily time clock adjustments for abnormal shift times, overtime, absences and vacations, and weekly payroll adjustments.
Prepare/input payroll adjustments for processing.
Prepare/input a variety of payments for processing
Process a variety of payroll forms ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
Provide customer service to associates, supervisors and management members
Maintains payroll provider system and personnel records including the set-up of new associate records in payroll system and inputs/reviews the required data into the database system.
Provides personal assistance to associates regarding time-keeping and general HR information and services.
Maintains attendance/absence tracking for hourly associates. Calculates and processes attendance bonuses/salary increases for hourly/management associates.
Reviews and authorizes payroll adjustments for payment.
Processes payroll-related inquiries (employment verifications, etc.).
Work as a part of a team to continuously improve processes, practices and efficiency of day to day payroll operations through proactive and efficient problem solving techniques


Qualifications:
Minimum of three to five years experience in a large volume, fast paced, weekly payroll operation
Membership in the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) and achievement of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM)
Proficient with Microsoft Office computer software, HRIS systems payroll systems, time and attendance system (ideally ADP and Payworks, and Enterprise)
Working knowledge of the complete payroll cycle.
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent math skills
Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Adaptable to changing situations
Ability to work independently, and in a team environment
Ability to work overtime
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
