We are currently recruiting for an SRM2 Implementation & Integration Project Manager located in Athabasca, AB for a contract opportunity of six months with high possibility of extension. Our ideal candidate for this SRM2 Implementation & Integration Project Manager has 5+ years of experience as a project manager for IT implementation projects. SRM2 Implementation & Integration Project Manager Job Description:

*Creation and management of the Project Plan

*Manage project phases as initiation, planning, execution and monitoring and control

*Assisting IT and Business team by providing leadership in implementing infrastructure, software development or package implementation projects

*Use project management processes, standards, templates and tools to ensure project scope, schedule and budget

*Ability to perform requirement management and stakeholder management to ensure business requirements and objectives are clearly documented and managed

*Require effective communication management, problem solving, risk identification, mitigation and negotiation skills

*Regular upkeep of project Change Management, Roles& Responsibilities documentation, Scope and Decision logs, Work Break Down structure, Costs, Lessons learned log, Issues/Risks Log and other PM artifacts as required

*Facilitate working sessions to develop detailed specifications, integration and process requirements, solution design documents, test cases with acceptance criteria and appropriate production readiness deliverables

*Advice the Director IT Delivery and VPIT and CIO of risk profiles for the projects

*Perform risk management and advice the Director IT Delivery, VPIT, CIO and other required stakeholders of risk profiles for the project scope change

*Participation in Project audit process

*Monitor and control the project budget and minimize the project cost as much as possible

*Prepare agendas, chair, and document project status meeting with stakeholders and prepare required reports for stakeholders

*Review and approve project deliverables and documents

SRM2 Implementation & Integration Project Manager Job Requirements

*4-year Canadian recognized degree or equivalent qualification and experience in computer science, management or engineering

*Minimum five years recent experience (past 10 years) as a project manager in IT environment

*Must have experience in managing software development projects. (provide 3 examples with the product/service implemented, month and year project completed and budget)

*Experience in leading projects in mid-level organizations with 1000_2000 employees (mention min 5 organizations and number of employees)

*Recent experience in leading projects in educational institutions (post-secondary and higher)

*Advance level knowledge with MS Project (provide list of project management training undertaken in last 5 years)

*Organizational change management experience and qualifications. (provide the qualifications and list at least 3 projects in which you have provided change management leadership)

*Strong problem solving skills with practical approach to deal demands, timelines and setting priorities (explain min one experience)

*Ability to understand and apply new technologies (brief on min one such experience and length of it)

*IT Project Management Certification (PMP) will be an asset
