Roevin Technology is hiring for Game QA Testers for one of our leading technology clients located in Vancouver, BC. This is an excellent contract opportunity with a possibility for multiple extensions that would allow the Game QA Testers to work closely with development teams to provide top notch QA support.

The ideal candidates will be passionate about the gaming industry, interested in seeing the bigger picture, are true problem solvers and are motivated to grow and take on additional responsibilities.

Game QA Tester Responsibilities:

- Day to day testing of the product and related development tools
- Identify, track and verify the resolution of issues
- Clarify issues and provide detailed information when necessary
- Work closely and coordinate with external partners
- Oversee the generation and execution of test cases
- Evaluate milestone builds against tests for completion
- Communicate and present QA results and updates

Game QA Tester Qualifications:

- 1+ year of testing experience in the software industry (gaming preferred)
- Excellent MS Office (Project, Power Point, Excel) skills
- Unreal, JIRA, Visual Studio or similar tools are strong assets
- Ability to write detailed, accurate test plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment
- Scripting experience is a big asset
- Self-starter, methodical and proactive
