Roevin Technology is currently sourcing for a Software QA Manager on a fulltime basis for one of its Software Dev clients in the Mississauga area. As the Software QA Manager you will be responsible for building and leading a small team of QA resources. Currently there is no QA team in place, and our client is looking for a Software QA Manager with experience in building one out. The Software QA Manager will partner cooperatively with the products (software and hardware) development teams across the business to deliver quality products to customers, while continuously assessing and improving the QA processes. This position will apply industry best practices in quality, as relevant to Survalent’s business, to define and drive a quality strategy, lead the team through the execution of the strategy, and utilize metrics to assess progress, continuously learn, and course correct.

Furthermore, the Software QA Manager will be responsible for leading the design of the QA System and aligning it with industry standards and auditing practices, including testing methodologies (such as manual and automated testing), from unit level to product release. Implement the product testing processes through the software development departments in Canada and Macedonia The Software QA Manager will be asked to design and evaluate current product testing practices and other QA related documentation





As the Software QA Manager, our client is looking for someone with a minimum of 7+ years of hands on SQA experience with a minimum of 2-3 years as in a lead/management capacity. The Software QA Manager must bring with them and In-depth understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Systems, QA test methodologies and processes, and familiarity with the newest trends in SQA. Furthermore our client is looking for the individual to bring with them the following:

High standards of software development excellence while having customer needs in mind
Highly motivated self-starter that delivers results on time and with high quality
Strong communication, interpersonal, listening, and questioning skills
Excellent time management and organization skills
Excellent coaching/training skills
Excellent knowledge of English (verbal, general and technical writing skills) is required
Experience in use of QA specific software’s and testing automation is preferred
Must be versed in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to multi-task, and work constructively and persists, even under pressure
Demonstrated ability to work well with others within and across teams, and with geographically distributed teams

If you are a Jr QA Manager who would love the opportunity to work for a highly reputal software dev company and to be given the opporutnity to build a Software Testing team, this is your opportunity. This is not a Senior position as there is currently no testing team in place and there will be no active report to's until they are hired in the coming months.
